Hi everyone,

I am finally about to overclock my i7-5960X hopefully to 4.5GHz. I'm going to follow this video link below except there is one minor consideration to take into account: He overclocked the base clock which caused the DRAM frequencies to jump a great deal. Here's what he did in a nutshell

1) Left XMP enabled
2) changed Uncore to 3.7Ghz
3) OC'd CPU 4.5GHz@1.301v (was 3GHz@1v)
4) changed BCLK to 35 x 128.72MHz
5) PROBLEM: Due to the base clock increase, his RAM jumped up from 2133MHz to 2830MHz. My RAM is 3200MHz, so I'm wondering just how much my RAM will jump (to 4GHz??) and if it's ok or if I should lower it manually
6) His temps maxed out 84C which wasn't bad, my temps should be much better with my nicer 360mm rad

The Problem: He is using DDR4 2133MHz, but the RAM I purchased is 3200MHz, so should I just do all the things he did and let the DRAM frequencies jump to 4GHz-ish or should I do all that he does BUT manually change the DRAM frequency to be something lower like 3500MHz or something like that?

Everything in my rig is identical to his rig except that my RAM is much higher bandwidth naturally and my cooler is leaps and bounds better than his H80i. I've really never overclocked before, I hope it's not terribly obvious.
