My laptop has Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 3.40GHz and Radeon HD7670M Graphics Card with 1 GB DDR3 dedicated plus 3.8 GB shared. 8GB total RAM.

When hosting a GoToMeeting, why do I get the message about slow performance and do I want to change from Windows Aero to Window Basic theme?

Shouldn't there be enough Graphics power? Am I missing something or a setting?

Thanks!

It is referring to your internet connection and/or the internet connections of everyone connected. Removing Aero effects speeds up the sharing of your desktop. I use Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) all the time - and there is a big difference when Aero is disabled on the host computer.

It has nothing to do with your Rig, It's all based on the broadband speed and the exchange of traffic between the server and your broadband. It's like a another version of TeamViewer, where higher the rate of transfer will be between the both connections the fast response you will get. You might check the settings of the software If it includes some special settings for the Internet speed. Sometimes due to high traffic screen sharing might get slowed.
