My external hard drive is detectable by Device Manager but not detectable (showing) in File Explorer.

My External HDD is Seagate Expansion Portable Drive 1TB Model: SRD00F1

Check to see how Disk Management see's it as.
( start - right click "Computer" - Manage - Disk Management)

It took a while then a popup window "Initialize Disk" appeared, and my external HDD is recognized as unallocated!
Here's a shot for clarifying:

Hi there omareg94,

Is this a brand new hard drive? If yes, you should first initialize it. After that you should partition and format it. Do that if it is only a brand new one as you will lose the data on it if you have some.

Hope this will help,

No it isn't a brand new. It have been used normally and I have a lot of important data on it. I need to make it working as it was with its data on it.

Hi there omareg94,

Most probably you have a partition table problem. There are quite a lot threads on the forum about that. Below I will provide some. Keep in mind though that the safest way to recover your data is through a data recovery company.
Also, it will be a good idea to try and connect the drive with another USB cable.

Here are some threads you may want to take a look at:

I've discovered that there are dust particles on the platter unfortunately!
Kindly check my new question: How to clean an external HDD's platter?
