Best solution

Some issues:

The CPU cooler is not better than a $25 air cooler. Change it for a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
The motherboard is pretty low end to be doing any overclocking on and it has poor power phases.
The GPU is a bit weak for the rest of the build. It would make sense to get a locked i5 and an h97 board and drop the cooler to afford a better GPU.
16gb RAM is pointless for gaming. I would only get 8gb for sure. Again use the money for a better GPU.

Hi mate, agree with the above, as well as get faster ram, try aiming for at least 2133 ram (this will ensure future proofing) seeing as ddr4 is now out

CPU cooler, might as well get a cheaper air cooler,

Faster RAM in an intel gaming build will do nothing. I never recommend faster RAM unless it costs exactly the same or less than 1866. There is no point for it.

Persoanlly if you are a gamer you notice the difference on some games esp at 4k

There is a SMALL (0-5fps) difference at high res like that, but this guy will not be playing anything close to 4k.

We went from 1333 to 2133 for my GFs computer recently and got ZERO change in gaming performance. Not even 1 fps in benchmarks. It just doesn't matter for intel gaming builds. AMD is where the RAM speed makes an actual difference, due to the weaker memory controller.

IF you want to do overclocking, An Asus Z97-A would be great.

ALso you should be getting a 4690k not a 4670k.

How much would it cost to out good water cooling into it ? And will I need thermal paste with the cooler?

Got a custom loop you are looking at $250 to do the CPU and $350+ to do both the CPU and GPU.

you can get an H100i or some other AIO cooler, but I never recommend those are cheaper air coolers beat them and are quieter.

No need to buy paste, the 212 EVO comes with it.
