Hello guys, I want to build a bang for the buck gaming pc that can run new games like Alien Isolation, Shadow of Mordor and Assassins Creed Unity at 1080p Ultra graphics (No budget, but keep it as low as possible). I'm also going to use it for game development (Unreal Engine 4). I will not Crossfire or SLI and I don't know if overclocking the CPU (Should I wait for Broadwell?) is worth the price of a CPU cooler. An SSD is not needed (I may buy one later) and I need peripherals. Hope you can help me and thanks for reading.

That build is awesome, how much would it cost without the SSD? I may change the 980 with a 970.

I would say this is the best bang for your buck. The PSU and mobo allow you to sli later if you want. This is also just the tower without the peripherals.

Great build! One question though, should I wait until Broadwell is released? Will it cost a lot?

Waiting is up to you. I'm not sure when they come but if its within the next month I would wait otherwise haswell will be fine. I'm using an ivy bridge cpu and its never been 100% used in any game.

Im sure the price will be the same as the current cpu's. For example an i5 5670k (if thats what they call it) will cost the same as the current 4th gen i5.

Wow that is a kick-ass machine! Thanks gremlin. I'm going to wait until Broadwell is out and replace the Haswell processor.

Persoanlly Broadwell is likely to me more a Mobile chip (kind of , they have Int GFX , laptops 2 in 1 etc ), I think performance wise the chips atm are pretty insane and will be super fast, with best value vs performance

Just a tip, while gremlin's build is great is complete overkill if you play at 1080p 60hz. If you get a build like that pair up with either a 144hz monitor or a nice 1440p. That will let you take advantage of that beast of a pc.
