I don't think one is likely to work better than the other except possibly when it comes to driver support. NVidia seems to provide more frequently updated drivers for newly released cards and games, and fix what doesn't work more quickly when something becomes apparently wrong. That aside, I've personally had better performance from AMD based cards once driver issues WERE sorted out, if any were present.

The R9 270X or if you can afford it, the R9 280 would be a much stronger performer in all games and comparing the least expensive 270x to the least expensive 280, it's only about a fifteen dollar difference. The 280 slightly nudges past the 760 while the 270x is just slightly below it.

The 280x at 229.00 is not even comparable to the 760, more like the 770, so that would be an even better option but it's like 70 more than the 280. By comparison, the cheapest 760 is 184.00.

World of Warcraft, an OpenGL game, is going to get better performance on Nvidia cards. AMD is well known for not doing very well on OpenGL games in general.

You can get the MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr Gaming for $185.

Just got another question for you hope you have the time for it what should I look for in a graphic card in terms of wow playing (memory or core clock) which of the two is more important, thanks.

I wouldn't get too caught up in the specs, but the core clock is going to be more important. That's only when comparing two of the same card models (GTX 760 vs GTX 760).

The most important thing is to check the performance benchmarks for the game that you want to play. The site I linked, TechPowerUp, regularly uses WoW in its benchmarks going back a few years, so be sure to check them out for more info. WoW in general runs very well with high performance on mid-range cards, so it's hard to go wrong if that's your main game.
