is processor is good for next gen gaming?

i have phenom 2 x4 945 3.0 ghz is it enough for next gen gaming(maybe 5 or 7 months since i am planning to update my pc until new line of processor released by either amd or intel)

Not really, at best on low-medium settings. AMD won't release anything worthy within the next year, as it seems.
Broadwell (intel's next line) is expected to mainly provide a boost in iGPU (useless with a dedicated gpu) performance and efficiency. CPU performance won't increase much, maybe 5%. So if you want to play games and have the money now, upgrade. It won't yield you much waiting, except for being unable to enjoyably play for a while.
