i5 4440 is very good, but if you can, try getting an i5 4690K ( should be around 15k in local stores)
and no, the FX8350 is not better than the i5 4440 in terms of gaming performance.
The FX processors run very hot too, and that is a bad thing in the already hot environment during summers!

Yes, the 4690K is clocked a bit higher, but the main difference is that it has an unlocked multiplier ( it can be overclocked)

Your i5 4440 is more than enough to handle your GPU well. It won't bottleneck the top end cards either!

Asus B85M-K is a good choice for your build if you choose i5 4440. If you choose 4690K, you'll have to increase the budget a bit.
