Unfortunately I cannot afford a monitor yet but I will get a 1080p monitor soon. I was just wondering how this build will perform at games at 900p?

Short and Simply, very very well to say at least. You can max out any game at that resolution for time to come.

COMPLETE and utter overkill.

LOL

Still worth it if you plan to upgrade your monitor.

The card is such great value for money, so I probably would in the hopes that I would get a better monitor.

I just want to spend big now so it will last a while rather than cheap out and it last like 3 years and have to completely rebuy everything thus bieng more expensive in the long run. Also I would love a 1440p monitor but I will wait until they are cheaper.

If your going to go 1440p down the track, get two GTX 970's.

I was going to do that further down the line. 1440p Gaming is still expensive though.

to be able to play 2560x1440 well, the hardware needs to be certainly up to spec, which costs a lot more then the monitor does.

It's just the fact it almost doubles the price of the computer is annoying.

buying cards one at a time and getting them when there on sale can save you much more money then just buying all the cards at once when full price.

Yeah, I would prefer to have a card that will last me a long time and then I can just buy another one when its so cheap.
