So this is my first time even attempting to build a PC, and this is what I've come up with. Now i know a lot of first timers will build a desktop then when they put it together nothing happens. So before i do ANYTHING i will run by you all. I will put my PC's build below and you all can help me find out if i screwed up because two things are not compatible or i could get something of equivalent power for less. All help is appreciated.

CPU: AMD FX-8350

GPUs: Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 and Radeon HD 7850 Crossfire

MOBO: ASRock 990FX Extereme9

RAM: 2x Black Diamond 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM

SSD: AMD Radeon R7 240G 240GB

HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA300 3TB

Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper

Power Supply: Antec HCP-850 850W

This is the PC I've spent a long time researching, Please help me make the final touches by telling me if it is all compatible or if I'd be able to get a part that is as good as one above but for less.

This really depend on the games you will be playing. I recommend a GTX 970 or a R9 290 or R9 290X with that build of yours.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 and Radeon HD 7850 Crossfire???
YOu want these 3 cards in your PC?

Get a different SSD, the one you chose is not great. A Crucial MX100 is well priced at the moment, the Samsung EVO is decent too.

Get an aftermarket cooler for your CPU, it gets pretty hot with the stock cooler.

I don't quite understand when you said a "GTX 580 and 7850 Crossfire".

I recommne a 1600MHz or 1866Mhz for gaming. Not a 1333MHz. And it shouldn't be much of a price difTerence, $5 or so.

Woudln't recommend AMD for an SSD. Try Kingston or Samsung.

Toshiba has faulty problems in the history. So try Seagate or Western Digital.

Great choice of PSU.

Will you overclock, if you do get a CPU cooler as you will need one. Also if you don't overclock, you will still require one as AMD tend to overheat.

Is it bad to have those cards? I mean if there's an alternative tell me please.
