I own a reference R9 290X (manufactured by XFX), which is currently cooled by the horrendous stock air cooler.
I was wondering if there some closed loop water cooling solution or a better air cooler available for reference 290X's, since it sounds like a wind tunnel when I play intensive games.
I tried having a look around myself and didn't find much, perhaps you guys know of some possible good cooling solutions?

There is only one I can recommend and that is the Arctic Accelero Hybrid II-120.
There is no better closed GPU liquid cooler IMO.

Literally any Arctic Accelero product that fits your budget will do better than the stock cooler and maybe better than some non- reference coolers. ;)

NZXT Kraken G10 and a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme, exceptional cooling performance. <- I am doing this with my R9 290X currently.

The 3.0 extreme is an AIO cooler with a 360mm rad so check your case to see if it fits if your considering.
