Is this build any good ?

Solution
Yes, you chose solid parts for your rig that meets the ultimate specifications.

Your PSU is a high tier psu and everything seems in order, but I would recommend a switch to intel, as intel doesn't consume to much as AMD and they are more powerful.

This is stronger than the AMD build you wanted and the board supports CROSSFIRE incase you want to Crossfire. The board also supports killer ethernet so it makes your ping faster(Love this feature). You also save 20 dollars XD!

Why don't you wait for the GTX 970 to launch in australia, because it will be a very nice upgrade compared to the R9 280X
And I second that a good cooler will be required!

And if you like it, consider Corsair Carbide 200R/300R too, they are quite good for the price. (and I am a massive corsair fanboy)

Its already there, but its 440$+.

Problems! Even here in India they are about US$490!
Hate the price and the taxes.
