I have a hard time distinguishing the better from them, and they are at the same price range which is perfect for me(I don't want to spend on extra mobo luxuries).

Planned PC spec:

    paired with 4790k & domis
I will OC them to the limit
    maybe SLi in the future

PC uses:

    home workstation
    gaming
    music production

Or if you have other mobos in mind, other than mentioned that would fit my needs, please feel free to share.

I already have all the other parts, I thought that by the time I'll buy the mobo I'd already figure it out but I don't. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Of the three, I'd go w/ the Ranger, it's a little brother to the Hero, which was the best of the Z87s and the Z97 Hero is just rolling along, much improved for OCing, runs cooler, handles DRAM better and higher freqs, BIOS was great on the Z87 and improved on the Z97. Wish they had the Ranger in the States, have a number of people that would like one
