Hey guys,

I know there's a lot of thread like these in here but I want to ask my specific problem.

Ok so I guess I had enough of this problem of mine, tried any possible solutions I can find
still nothing, I don't know what's causing my CPU usage to hit 100%. I already reformatted
2x times yet I end up going back on the same problem.

The weird part is even i tried to monitor the process with the task manager nothing seems
to give off at least 50 CPU usage among the programs running.

CPU readings on idle status hits up to 15 - 30%

Sometimes I experience this while simply streaming Videos on the web (Couch tuner mostly)
I use "Driver Booster" (well free version) to keep my softwares up to date.

Windows Update switched to manual mode and up to date
Using MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) for anti-virus (even tried to switch its affinity to CPU 0)

Spybot Search & Destroy for anti malware

And Installed CCleaner and Iobit Advanced System Care for registry and error fix (also optimized for manual mode so it won't read or do things automatically)
Have the latest Java and Flash Players I could get.

Net Framework, C++ and Divx the latest I could get and even from the updates from microsoft.

I know Framework and C++ is not much of needed but it was included somehow (hard to avoid specially if some games requires it)

So I have been working with my PC for let say 8yrs now and had no problems in the past.

I can assure that the motherboard is well ventilated and cleaned.

I have nothing much installed within my PC. and I also noticed when playing some games
It lags like hell, then speed up, then lag again. (Which I haven't encountered before)

Based on reading I also changed my keyboard coz sometimes they say thats what's causing it, but np, the problem persists.

So can anyone give me an idea whats causing this crap?

Thanks for answering but I was expecting that already. Thus however I don't know if you noticed this part on my post

The weird part is even i tried to monitor the process with the ---->"task manager"<--- nothing seems to give off at least 50 CPU usage among the programs running.

So thank you for trying at least.

If you have that much CPU use at idle you have way too many things running on the system.

Don't use any driver utilities, tune up utilities, etc..

Install Windows clean. Do all the driver updates manually, not through some 3rd party utility. Does it have the issue? If not, you are installing something that is causing this to happen at some point after the system has had a clean setup on it.

Seems I found the problem. . . Its my faulty PSU when installing the OS, What I did is reformated the CPU with a new PSU, Installed everything I was using before and there you go.

Also I was using Win 7 x86 which is I do not recommend, It limits the RAM usage to Maximum of 3GB therefore the exceeding process will take your CPU memory instead.

The Win 7 64x will allow you to use up to 100GB of RAM so pretty much the excess process which your ram couldn't handle will be transfered to CPU instead.

It is recommended for those who are using Photo and Video Editors such as myself. so Thanks guys.
