Hello! I have unfortunately started getting lags due to my second harddrive, I was just wondering if anyone has got any clues what might be wrong with it.

So I have a 120GB SSD with OS on there, and then a 2TB disk for games and some other things, and the 2TB disk has since a couple of days back been malfunctioning, I cant launch some of the games I have installed on it, and the ones I can often get lag spikes with wierd sound glitches (robotic blue-screenish-sounds). Sometimes when I play a game (specificly Counter-Strike) it just crashes even though its not on the 2TB HDD, and whenever the actual game stops working, Steam(game-platform) just stops working, the process is still running, and I cant delete it in the task manager, I gotta restart my PC in order to get it back working. So I decided to unplug the 2TB HDD and see if things worked normally without it, and well, it did. Oh and the actual HDD can literally just dissapears under heavy load. Has anyone else had any similiar problems? How did you solve it? I'd really want to skip the formatting part, because I got alot of important stuff on it.

Thanks alot,
Jordan.

PS. I have checked the power saving option that makes the harddrive turn off but no luck there.
