Hello everyone.

I was looking for a nice air cooler for my cpu since I'm still running with a stock intel cooler.
I came across the Cryorig R1 Ultimate cooler and thought it looked pretty nice.

I was wondering if anyone here knows something about it and something to say.
Or if anyone has a good suggestion for an air cooler to put in my rig.

Any answer is appreciated, thanks guys :)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus $19
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $29

Excellent cooling for the price, my 3 rigs run one of these with no heat issue ever.

Going to be a tight fit, but should work. The previous suggestion of the Hyper 212 EVO would do a great job and save you a chunk of change as well.

I, too, am using one and have been pleased with its performance and value.

Ive actually been looking at the Hyper 212 EVO for quite a bit now but i just think that the R1 Ultimate looks so much better.

My choice would mostly depend on which one does the job better and by how much. Don't know which to chose :)

Which would you guys go with?

What CPU are you using and do you intend to overclock it? If the one that is listed in your profile, I would go with the EVO.

At the moment i have a cheap G3258 Pentium with i have over clocked to 3,8 ghz with the stock cooler.
In the future I'm thinking of getting an i5 when intel´s fifth gen Cpu´s come out on the market and over clock it as much as possible. :)

Noise is second priority, power is number 1. :)

I would still recommend the EVO. With it, you can always add a second fan to move more air. Your original choice is nice, but is overkill and relatively expensive.
