It should be possible to play games from like 2005 and earlier, but you are going to want to add some ram to it. Ideally, you want about 8GB's of ram. But 4GB's will be fine to start with. To play any recent games, you will want to add a GPU. And then you will most likely have to overclock the CPU to get nice fps. You will still only be able to play these games at the very lowest settings...if you do the suggestions I just listed.

So the short answer would be no, it won't play those games.

You would need a graphics card. The onboard GPU of G33 is not capable of playing those games. I believe all G31/G33 motherboards had a PCI-E 2.0 slot but verify that.

Also, as the platform is pretty old, it may not have a power supply capable of powering a mid to high end graphics card- you'd have to check to be sure you have at least 450W for a mid range card and 550W for a higher end one.

If you decide to buy a graphics card, I'd recommend a mid range one as high end ones are likely to be bottlenecked by that CPU. even some of the good mid range ones might be constrained.

Also set your expectations properly- you're not likely to get 60fps at ultra settings at 1080p or 1440p but maybe 30 fps at medium settings on 1080p with a good mid range card.
