Looking for a best hard drive

I am looking for a best long lasting 2TB hard drive for my pc.I don't know what to choose seagate or western digital? Any suggestions??

Seagate barracuda 7200rpm or western digital caviar blue 7200rpm. They are both great hard drives and i would get whatever is cheapest out of the two.

well currently i am using seagate barracuda 7200rpm 2tb driver which just failed today after few replacements..So i don't trust it

Well they are widely recognized as some of the best hard drives out there you might just have bad luck. If you dont feel comfortable with the seagate get a western digital.

And on the other hand, I have 2 Seagates in my main PC, 2TB and 3TB, that have been cranking along for 2 years +.

Well that's great..well some drives fail but some don't..Clearly i was unlucky with seagate so i decided to buy WD Blue
