Looking at either the gtx 760 or 770. Just dont know who to go with. Ive heard asus card seem cheaply made nowdays and burn up within a few months. But have also heard the msi fand crap out more often than not.. so was looking for some insight on these brands

If you go 770, MSI is better (Asus has their 770 priced too high). If you go 760, either brand is a good choice. I would go MSI, though.

GTX 760:
Asus vs. MSI.

The MSI comes clocked higher out-of-the-box and is cheaper. Both have good cooling, but I would give the edge to the MSI since Asus doesn't have their best DCUII cooling on the card.

GTX 770:
Asus vs. MSI.

Price. The MSI also comes clocked higher again.

Paying 340 for a 770 is silly when you can get the 970 for the same price.

Exactly.

If you're going for a 770, a 970 will be much more powerful and last longer. It's a little more expensive than most 770's at $350, but it's worth it.

I really like my MSI GTX 970
It was $350 on New Egg.

The Zotac is $329 and available right now.

You'll probably be waiting a while if you want a 970. Sign up for email alerts on Newegg or backorder one on Amazon.

or try micro center. if they dont have them, you can ask them when they will have it back in stock. I know its a lot waiting for the 970, but trust me, i would upgrade to a 970 from a 770 any day
