Just for an overview, I have an SSD with my OS (win 7) and then two 1TB drives. One of those terabyte drives is my Steam games drive. The other is just general storage. However, I have used up the TB on my steam drive, while the storage drives is only utilizing about 200GB of space. I want to try and "connect" the drives so the computer see's it as a single drive. That way Steam will just go on adding games to the 2nd drive. Or is this not recommended?

Not recommended.
In the Steam client, you can designate multiple location for games to exist. Add another folder on the second HDD.

there is a way to do this but i know on steam when you save the game you can choose which hard drive to install it to! so you can simply get steam to save it in your other drive!

Brilliant! I did not know Steam allowed that. Thanks for both of your answers!
