Confused as to how I'm going to power my GPU.

I have a EVGA GTX 770 SC, and on the card there are 2, 6 pin power connectors. I am planning on purchasing a red sleeved EXTENSION PCIE cable (for aesthetic purposes) but I can't seem to find one, is there an alternative to using 2x6 pin connectors? Will using a sleeved extension cable (30cm) effect anything?
Any help would be brilliant as this is my first PC build so I'm soaking up as much information as possible :)

That extension will only use 6 of the possible 12 connector holes on the GPU? Will just using the 6 pin be enough?

What is the make and model of your current PSU? I'm under the impression your PSU only has one 6 pin (or one 6+2 pin) PCIe connector. There are only a few PSU's with that configuration I would recommend using the molex to PCIe adapters that come with most graphics cards. It's likely you'll need to replace your PSU here

I don't currently have my PSU, but I'm planning on getting the Corsair RM750.

The Corsair RM750 has a sleeved kit available from Corsair found here http://www.corsair.com/en-us/professional-individually-sleeved-dc-cable-kit-type-3-generation-2-red for ~$80, rather than add an extension, you can run already made red power cables almost everywhere (ATX 24PIN CABLE SOLD SEPARATELY) inside for a completely awesome look. It's something to consider, I think some shopping around should be able to source those sleeved cables a bit cheaper than Corsair (walmart even has them available through their on-line ordering - although I couldn't find red, that's just weird IMO). You can also buy just the sleeved cables you want (a little harder to find) and if you really want to get crazy, there are places that will make custom sleeved cables to the lengths you specify (okay, that gets expensive). Last I'll point out that many choose to do sleeving as a DIY thing (I fall into that category, that can also get expensive)

Don't you think just buyig the sleeved extension is the logical idea though? As the extension bit is what everyone is going to see? If I get a full sleeved 90% of that cable is hidden behind mobo. Plus the extension is the like $8 ($13)

I have used extension in the past and they do work for what you want to do, I just thought I'd add that stuff for good measure (and to let you know about options). I'm not a fan of extensions (lol, the only extensions I use are for fans) and in the instances I do use them, it's because I need the additional length but some also add them simply for the bling factor
