Hello,i have corsair 300r. one 140mm redux fan at the front running at level 2 in bios connected to chasis fan2 on mobo i need to have it connected there because the chasis fan 1 is 4pin connector and the fans always run at full speed when i connect 3 pin fan there also want to ask if theres any fix for that...the second one is noctua 120mm redux at the back running at 900-1000rpm all the time because i need to have it connected to cpu fan2 because of the problem with 4pin.They seem to be louder as everyone says especially the front 140mm fan.I have the system in my profile but the mobo is Asrock z77 xtreme z77-m4.I do not have any fan controller only bios...it really makes me angry that 3 -> 4 pin problem cuz i cant connect the back fan correctly to mobo chasis fan.Thought about buying Corsair silent fans and putting them to 7 V with the connector that comes with them but i want to fix this somehow. My friend has the same case and he even has the stock cooler on and its quieter than mine...The cpu cooler is XIGMATEK Dark Knight II SD1283 frostbourne edition with noctua nf-p12 pwm fan on it.

There should be an option in the BIOS for that 4 pin header. I have a Z77 Extreme6 and it's there, so I don't see why yours shouldn't. If not, try using something like SpeedFan, or grab a cheap controller to control it. Are you talking about Noctua fans? Noctua fans come with cables that reduce voltage to the fan keeping it quieter, so maybe use those.

What kind of option? i can set levels and everything but it doesnt change the speed of the fan its just running at max.
