Hi, I have this PC build, and I have a few questions about both my cpu and gpu. So, I have Catalyst Control Center installed, and I would like to know how to boost my cpu speed to the 4.1 (turbo) that it boasts on the product page (if it would give me any better gaming performance). Also, under the AMD Overdrive tab of CCC, it gives me the option to increase my gpu speed, among other things. If I were to increase the speed to, say, max, would that give me any better performance in games? (And also, you know, would it melt anything? :p ) One game in particular I would love more FPS in is Mechwarrior Online (I know, it is not very optimized, especially for AMD hardware). In that game, I peak at a good 60 fps when I am stationary, staring at the ground, on the smallest map, when nothing is going on, at medium graphics (changing them to low gave no benefit whatsoever). I drop down to as low as 20 when there's a lot going on (which is when i need the good fps the most). So, would increasing my CPU and/or GPU speed help me in any way with this? (I would think it would, but I'm not sure)
ALSO, would I even be able to turbo/overdrive/overclock either of these on my current mobo and psu? (Right now, in my most intensive games and programs, i stay well within the heat threshold for all my components, I'm using the stock coolers for everything, and my PC is sitting under my desk, but it is well ventilated.)
Thanks so much all!

You said so much but you did not include your build.

Idk if you can see it, but I did. I hyperlinked "This" in "I have this pc build" I'll re-link it here:

Also, accidentally hit "Choose as best answer" in the email i got instead of the link -_-

So, what exactly do you want to do? If you want more performance, OC your GPU and CPU.

Thats kinda what I'm asking to do. I'm asking how to get the CPU up to the 4.1 ghz it boasts, and I'm asking if it would be safe to do that with my parts, and if it would be safe to use the amd overdrive in the catalyst control center to oc my gpu. People in the reviews section for that cpu (on newegg) say that it goes from 3.5 to 4.1 ghz when needed, out of the box. No OCing. I've ran really cpu intensive things (blender, and games), and never seen it go above 3.5.

For your GPU, I would suggest the MSI afterburner and for the CPU OC it in the BIOS. What is your CPU boost clock currently?

By cpu boost clock, I'm assuming it's max current clock speed? Which is 3500 mhz.
And, wouoldn't using AMD's official software be better for overclocking their gpu?

There are many ways to kill a pussy. If you are comfortable using it, then go. The drowbacks are the slider type interface which is difficult to control and prone to mistakes.

3.5 Ghz to 4.1 Ghz is attainable I guess, but I don`t have any source which will prove my assumption, however I think that it is attainable.

?
And, ok. I'll just have to make sure to stay well within the max clock speeds and temps i suppose.

And use AMD overdrive at your will. Search youtube for guides in using overdrive.
