I've scoured the lands of the internet and haven't found a solution to this problem I've had.

So It all started when I replaced my case with a much better one (Same size) and I replaced my psu for future upgrades. When I got my computer to boot. I noticed that it didn't display my second monitor Then I decided to check my driver. My driver wouldn't start up or boot so I just uninstalled it through a program called DDU and reinstalled the driver and rebooted my system
only to find I had a blank screen after the windows logo. I've reset my bios and reset the cmos to no avail. I even reinstalled windows and it's still causing me troubles. I hope there is a fix without replacing the gpu :(

(Turns out I messed up the GPU so I RMA'd it)

SPECS:
G1 Sniper MOBO
16Gb of DDR3 Ram
GTX 780 GPU
Intel i74470 3.5Mhz
850 watt corsair M series

Solution

it depends on the manufacturer, with XFX all they needed was a description of the problem and my serial number an i got my RMA. What brand card do you have?
I don't think it is a windows problem, as you did state you reformatted your computer and after re-installing the driver you screen went black again. thats the exact same problem i had.

The same thing happened to my XFX r9 290, it turned out that the bios on the card was corrupted and i had to RMA it, I too did days or research to no avail. It sounds like you are having the same problem, the drivers aren't communicating with the card properly.

Did you try to change/alter your cards bios in anyway? if not it might be bad memory on the card witch isn't very likely or a corrupted bios, in which case you will have to RMA it.

Thanks for the reply. Is RMA a pain in the ***? I've never done it so I don't know the struggles of it. I'm keeping my hopes up that the blank screen is a windows problem.

Also the reason i mentioned it might be your memory, maybe when you were switching to you new case you damaged it, or some static electricity damage it, that's how i killed the gtx 650 in my htpc.
Also what brand PSU did you buy, if it is a cheaper one it could be that it gave you card too much power and damaged it.

I got a corsair 850 watt power supply for further improvemnts on graphics in the future so I know I didn't cheap out on the PSU. I think you reason might be it though because I remeber placing the gpu on a table while transfering the mobo to the other case. I think that's probably what killed it.

I also forgot to mention that the gpu brand is gigabyte 780
I'm trying to rma the product as I speak.
