windows XP VHD domain credentials?

Hello,

I have two laptops. One is XP on a domain and the other is 7 and not on a domain. If I do a VHD of XP and use it as a virtual PC in 7 will the domain credentials still work on XP even though its a virtual PC?

I would remove your XP from the domain before virtualizing it. Or at least make sure you can login locally with Adminsitrator rights.

The domain controller might see your virtualized PC with different SID, and make your login impossible.
