I've just completed building my first pc :) This might seem like a strange question, but I'm new to building computers and don't know much about them, so could someone just clarify if these things are normal when you first turn your computer on:

  • Front LED fan which came with the case has LED lights on, but isn't turning.
    GPU fans aren't turning either.
I went into bios and the CPU is running at around 55 degrees, is that hot for a CPU?
The CPU heatsink and fan is extremely noisy (far noisier than my current pc).

PC build:

AMD FX 8320 CPU
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P AMD
8GB G.Skill RipJaws X Series 1600MHz (2x4GB)
Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01
EVGA 600B 80 Plus PSU
LiteOn 24x Internal SATA DVD RW Drive

Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z 24"

I plugged in all the PCI cables which came with my PSU into the GPU. I didn't take off the plastic cover which came on the GPU, but that doesn't cover any of the fans.

EDIT: GPU and PSU fans are both working this time when I turned on my PC.

CPU fan is running at 5800rpm and CPU is at around 50 degrees.

EDIT: Ok, I tried re-routing some cables and found that one of the molex cables was in the LED fan, preventing it from working.

Re-routing the cables, and allowing the front LED fan to work seems to have solved the problem of the CPU fan running too quickly and too loudly. The CPU is now running at around 45 degrees so hopefully this means that all my problems are solved. Thank you for your help :)
