bf4 weird full screen issue

hey guys, have been having horrible issues after cleanly removing and installing both 14.8 and 14.9 drivers with my 7970s, on one card things run great but when I use my second card I get this fiull screen scrolling issue, it literally looks like its refreshing slow upwards.

before that at my 1150/1500 clock they played great, now i had to lower them to 1050 for my second card to not lock up my system while testing. it seemed after changing psus etc with just my second card in it would lock up my pc in occt lowered to 1050 and its fine. i re installed and was running great till today. I believe my card wasnt seated all the way in due to my homemade case causing issues.

still i have tried with and without after burner etc and it still does it but while full screen testing in occt it runs fine but only loads the cards to 54% each

is my second 7970 dying? should I try the 14.4 drivers again since they played well?

I also played the game with just my first card installed and it played just fine at 1150

Try running each card separately in a Benchmark loop for at least an hour (3DMark or whatever). The other card should be physically removed.

First, use the card which doesn't appear to have issues. When testing the second card use the SAME PCIe slot.

If no issues the cards are fine so you're left with:

a) Power issue?
Easily tested. Repeat benchmark test but swap Power cables around to same card. Doubt that's the problem.

b) PCIe issue?
Possible. That's why I said use the same slot. Repeat benchmark with a single card in the 2nd slot to see if that is stable.

c) Main system memory issue?
run MEMTEST for a full pass (about 30minutes per 8GB)

d) software issue?
Very possible. If you can't find a hardware issue I'm not sure what to recommend other than reinstalling Windows though since you've removed the drivers.

*If your 14.4 drivers are stable that really tells me it's likely a software issue, UNLESS newer drivers somehow affect the cards fan profile or GPU throttling software in such a way that it exposes an instability in the card. If that was the case though I'd expect an issue with the card when by itself too (though adding heat with BOTH cards running complicates that theory).

So I'd stay with version 14.4 for now and try to Google for more info on why newer drivers are causing problems.

thanks man I think its more towards the driver since it doesnt do ti with my other games, but I will have to check for sure, I run two separate power supplies and i ran both cards and power supplies separately and tested and it was fine. its just once the other card kicks in when i get issues while its in the second slot. I wish I could run one card in the second slot but I dont think it will work correctly on this board from what i have read.

I am going to try a few things on this driver first then update it. weird thing is msi afterburner will not adjust my core clocks at all sometimes it runs at what it says but most of the time it defaults back to the stock clocks which makes it seem like there is an issue software wise or possibly the slot.
