Probably under Home Audio. I can move the topic if you like.
http://www.amazon.com/Microlab-Multimedia-Speaker-Enter...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Id probably take the microlab out of these.

Keep in mind, for $30, your not going to get anything that goes particularly loud or delivers the clearest of audio. But these are good enough for gaming at moderate volume levels.

they are ok for the price i guess, they are pretty much the same as the ls21's. would still take the microlabs over them for ths slightly higher output power.

Logitech z313 is priced at $40 and I've had them before. Good all around speaker. Z213 are crap. I use to work at best buy and every morning I use to crank music on all these speakers before the store opened.

Dont worry... I can probably manage 40 bucks. Do you agree that those Z313 speakers are good for 40$?

I think it will be worth your wait to get something reasonable. something with at least 15-20w subwoofer and 10w satellites. Otherwise its going to destort even at moderate volume levels.

I'll be honest. A good set of pc speakers will last you 10+ years. Unlike a computer which will last 4-5 years. So instead of cycling through $30 speakers every 3-4 years it's best to just buy a good set of speakers for $99 from a good company. I bought some Altec Lansing 4121 speakers in 2004 for $99 and they still sound better then the Logitech z623s I bought 2 years ago.

i can testify the z623's sound like crap (the THX label on them means nothing clearly). I tried them, and returned them and went back to my older logitech x230's. I think logitech just don't make em like they used to.
