Hey, i have a hp elitebook 6930p and i have recently took the solid state drive out of my desktop and wiped it so i could put it in my laptop, had no trouble there but when i tryed to install windows 7 64-bit to it, it had troubles making a new system partition so i did it for it and that's cleared up that problem but it now says "cannot install windows on this drive because this device might not be able to boot from this drive, check bios setup to see if controllers are turn on for this drive" I've had a look through all the bios and couldn't find anything that would make a difference, help please??

Does this laptop support UEFI?? If it does it is disabled or enabled? What about secureboot?

If there's a legacy option in the BIOS, you may have to change to that
