gpu for Athlon II x4 640?

Hey, my actual gpu is dead And i buy a newest gpu. I'm looking one for gaming. Not care if the CPU is bottleneck the gpu, in the future I'm going to upgrade the rest.

it depends on your budget. if you have $550, the gtx 980. $330, gtx 970. $270, R9 290, $180, R9 280, $130, gtx 750 Ti

Trust me you wouldn't want to bottleneck the CPU. Even a lousy graphics card can perform better than having a high end graphics card with the Athlon II x4 640.

My best advice is save up. And I knwo your graphics card is dead and barely able to run any games. But I highly recommended saving money for a new CPU, motherboard and a GPU. :)

Yes. But, for the moment i need the gpu. At end of the year maybe bought a new pc (true master race >:)  )

I want play games @ 1080p w/ 4gb ram

i would get an R9 280

I would at least get a R9 280X. As the R9 280 wouldn't perform very well in GPU intensive game.
