The odd thing is about this, is that Skyrim seems to always get me at 20-30 FPS. The second I lower Skyrim's resolution to 1920 x 1080, I get 60 FPS. This doesn't look bad in-game, but the text looks slightly blurry and stretched out when I do this, and I can't stand windowed mode.
I can run Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Oblivion, Prototype 2, etc. fine, 60 FPS, no problems. So I really don't get why Skyrim won't work for me.
I've even edited my .ini to maximum performance rather than quality, reduced texture size to free up resources, made my texture resolution lower, disabled leaves, lowered quality of rain/snow, turned Skyrim into multi-threading, etc.
Yes, I do know that resolution impacts FPS, but I can run several other games with 60 FPS except for this one. So I'm wondering why.
Any help?
