Thanks for the reply and if i buy r9 280 ......will i be able to play upcoming games in ultra settings as most of the games are demanding 4 gb memory at least.

If not on Ultra quality yes , i think - high settings . The cards with 4GB VRAM are out of the budget . If you find GTX 970 4GB or R9 290 4GB for $325 in your country , fine . Maybe from a site . i found only those cards .

GTX 770 is 10-15% faster than R9 280 but usually has 2GB VRAM but R9 280 has 3GB . Furthermore the price of GTX 770 is almost the same as of GTX 970 4GB , which is a lot faster and has 4GB VRAM . So , either GTX 970 4GB or R9 280 3GB .

i think yes . Just maybe not on Ultra but High . Who would dare release a game which min requirement for the GPU is 4GB .He would default .

which one shoul i go with r9 280x or r9 280 will be sufficient fir gaming in coming 3 years at high settings.

will my 500w current psu can handle it?

R9 270X - 180W
R9 280 - 200 W , MSI R9 280 - up to 250W - factory overclocking !
R9 280X - 250W
GTX 770 - 230W

R9 280X needs 600W PSU but R9 280 only 500W . Go for it . It is a very fast gaming card .
Btw , you have Intel processor , it draws up to 84W .
