I know SSDs are faster than 15K RPM HDDs, but they are cheaper than HDDs, and they hold more space. I heard that they are loud. Any suggestions? (I am currently trying to get components for my gaming pc, and are 15k RPM HDDs sound nice...)

Hey WolframAlpha. I agree with 13thmonkey, it seems that right now the best option for a gaming rig is the SSD + HDD combination. And about your question, I think that for a gaming rig, the 15k RPM drives are a bit too much. They get hotter than a 7200RPM drive and are a lot noisier. If you get an SSD for your OS, I'd recommend the WD Black HDD to go along with it. It is a drive with high performance designed for gaming and it comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
You could take a closer look at it here: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=760
There's also the WD VelociRaptor which is a 10k RPM if you're looking for that specifically and also has 5-year limited warranty. Here you can check its features: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=20

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
