My motherboard is a Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 and it's plugged into a Sata 3 port.

Does your OS support TRIM and is it enabled? The read and write numbers don't look terribly out of the ordinary, since it's spec'd to up to 540/520 for read write.

Yes my OS supports trim, and it's enabled.

I read up on the firmware and it's only fixing the read issue with files that are older then 1 month old ( Older files like that had lower speeds).

Your motherboard has 8 SATA 3 (6Gb/s) ports.
Double-check that the SSD is connected to one of the 6 AMD 6Gb/s ports, not to one of the 2 ASMedia 6Gb/s ports.

Connect the SSD to port SATA6G_1 if it is not there already and retest.
See page 1-28 of your motherboard manual for the location of the port.

It was previously in an AMD SATA 3 port and still is.
