OK so after solving another issue on here I need some help with a follow up. The core voltage under full load in prime95 was pretty much at a steady 1.224 at 4099 mhz BUT when I go into the uefi it says it is set at 1.3250 with an offset of +050 mv,so my question is do I need to change this or leave it?

I just don't want the cpu being at the wrong voltage constantly that's all :(

If it is Something like mine . P8Z77 V PRO and i7 3770k. The Motherboard and CPU will use Load Line Calibration to compensate for Vdroop. Usually the Auto setting is 0%, 25%, or 50%. If your CPU is in use and the frequency is 3900MHz, for the sake of argument say in UEFI BIOS may read 1.075 or 1.088v, on the default offset it can hit 1.220v in light use. Though once in Full Load or a heavy load the CPU voltage will drop down to prevent heat or damage. aka Vdroop
You can use LCC is a way to meet half way, so to speak.

EDIT. If your not using a 2nd generation Intel or newer then I most likely did not help/.

Oh yeah sorry about that,I posted my specs in the other thread and not this one sorry,my brain is fried from all of this haha. It's an Asrock 990Fx Killer mobo, the cpu is an FX 8350

So yeah basically this UEFI gives me the options of cpu voltage offset of; Auto,0,+0.50 mv,+0.100 mv or + 0.150 mv. I''m confused because every other thread I've read seems to work in increments. Furthermore just touching on the original post I made,I'm just wanting to know if the v core is set too high in the bios by default because in cpu-z under full load with prime95 it stayed mainly at 1.224

I am not entirely sure how the 990FX MB overclocks really. Never OC'd AMD. it can't be that different though, in theory i mean.

Yeah I would think that too. The thing is this thing is still running at stock speeds but now I've got it stable by increasing the cooling in the case I just wanted to know about the cpu voltage dilemma. As I said it's set at 1.3250 by default in the UEFI but under full load in prime95 it basically read 1.224 the entire time so I don't know what to do and even if that's a bad thing
