Dropped my WD Paspport 1tb now it's not recognized. I/O error. Please Help

Accidentally dropped my 1tb WD Passport and it stopped working. Thought it was some sort of internal problem so I tried to update the WD driver but to no avail. The Disk Management wont recognize it kept popping a I/O error. Please help! Thanks a lot.

Hey Janet. Sorry to have to say it, but Amdlova is probably right. But your data might still be intact. I would suggest that you go with a data recovery company to retrieve any important data that you may have.
