Boot into Safe Mode (F8) and Disable Auto Restart on Failure - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/advanced-sta...

How long has this been happening? Have you made any changes lately?

What exact ram do you have?

Download and run memtest86 to test it.

hey thanks for the reply
ive had the computer for about 5 months now and its only happened three times. not sure if this is related but when i boot the computer after being off over night it turns on and after a couple of seconds shuts off having me have to turn it on again after the second time it seems to turn on just fine.
i have a hyundai electronics ddr3. ive never heard of it but i came with the computer i bought im assuming its old so i would understand if its faulty,
also about the memtest86 what exactly am i looking for when running the test
ive never dont it before

Memtest will generate a test report highlighting any faults.
