Hello! I recently bought some components for my pc. (the mainboard, the cpu and new ram memory). I will attach a photo of my specs and temp because it's easier for you to see rather than read.
http://tinypic.com/r/2n7haie/8

That's my cpu temperature while it's idle. Can go allmost to 90 degrees Celcius while i'm on Starcraft 2 (for example).
I applied thermal paste as best as I could but the temperature was not dropping, so i tried many times to put a perfect quantity of componud on the cpu but it's not any difference. What should i do? My power supply is clean aswell but it's only 450w. Could that be a problem?

Thank you for helping me and excuse my bad english, i hope you'll understand me! :)

47C isn't "huge" for FM2 CPUs. Blow out your case with compressed air.

Post your complete and detailed build.

My CPU at idle is around 40 degree Celsius .

Enable the normal clock profile in BIOS . I.e. no overclocking .

On stock cooler ? If it is so, it is almost normal.

Ok here is my complete build.
Atx case with built-in power source of 450w (unknown name and it's 5-6 years old)
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2
CPU: AMD A4-6300 (3.5ghz)
Ram memory: Kingston 4GB, DDR3, 1333MHz, Non-ECC, CL9, 1.5V, LowProfile
HDD: Western Digital WDC 500gb Sata
Audio: Onboard soundcard
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5570 2gb

Isn't it dangerous to have 80+ temperatures in a game?

Yes,it's the stock cooler.

If you can manage an aftermarket cooler like CM Hyper 212, it is better. Most of the stock coolers (both from Intel and AMD) are craps. For 80+ (considering it in degree celcius), you need to watch out.

Make sure you're not overclocking the CPU. Boost CPU cooler fan speeds. Get a better CPU cooler.

I am not overclocking it, at least i didn't intended to do it because i didn't changed any bios settings after i installed the components. How can i see if i'm doing it or not?

Enter BIOS . By default , sometimes the rig is overclocked.

It isn't FM2, it is AM3+.

I am now 100% sure that i'm not overclocking the CPU. The thing is that i spent all my money on the new hardware and i need to save some for the new cooler. I hoped it's a software issue or something. Is it worth mentioning that i have windows 7 on 64bits and kaspersky installed?

Change Kaspersky to Avast free version plus Malwarebytes.

I did that and now it's running at an average of 64 C degrees. I want to mention that i have an open case and it's like 19-20 C degrees in the room (i like the fresh air of october so i'm lettting the window open)

So you changed anti virus and the temp went up from 47C to 64C?

How are you measuring CPU temp? You should be getting it from bios/uefi.

in bios it's 38-40C and i'm using HWmonitor to measure the temp

That's all you should post - 38-40C is a good temp.

No! 38-40C is a good temp. The reading from bios is the one you should use.
