As the title says, i want to upgrade my present
I3-2100 with I5-4690K &
Intel dh61ww mother board with Asus Z87-A
now, i've doubt about my gpu.
I already have a Zotac Nvidia GTX 650 TI 1GB DDR5 GPU installed in my PC.
Is it compatible with new motherboard(Asus Z87-A) & Processor(intel i5-4690k) ???
and it will b good if anyone suggests compatibility b/w Asus z87-a & i5-4690k also..
Thank u guys, hoping a best solution....

Solution
Get the Z97 board.
Z87 board doesn't support i5 4690k out of the Box.

And yes the card its totally compatible with your mobo and cpu.

Hope this helps any other questions feel free to ask.

Can u explain me why i5 4690k is not supported by z87-a???
In instructions, i've read dat all intel's 4th gen cpu's will support...
y r u sure about its compatibility vid 4690k????

and if i get z97-a with i5 4690k, still my gpu will compatible???

I get that you're upgrading but what exactly are you going to do with this pc? if its for gaming, I suggest going back a bit on the motherboard and processor and getting a solid gpu instead of a 650ti, and as far as bottlenecking is concerned, you dont have to worry about that as long as you are sensible with your processor and mobo downgrade.
remember balance is key.

Thanks for ur reply,
I already have 650ti gpu, just planning to buy new mobo & processor.
I've got Asus Z97-A and I5-4690K by selling old intel dh61ww with i3-2100 processor.
My GPU working fine... anyway what u think about my mobo & Processor upgrade, isn't good????

That motherboard and CPU are very good, you'll get plenty of years of use out of them :)
