So im trying to boot my system from a linux USB, and i cant remember the button for the boot device menu (asus sabertooth 990fx -in case anyone wants to tell me ;P) so i go into the bios to do it from there. Now i have one of these bios's where you can use a mouse and its all pretty and stuff. Anyway the following video shows what happens every time i go into the bios.

Sadly thats not it...

New developments: Updated bios to the latest on the ASUS website. listed as 2501 in the bios (managed to clear the blackness from that area to find out.)

Could this be a graphical drivers issue? also my monitors are both fairly old TV's.

Cant be a driver issue, because in the BIOS none of your drivers are loaded, let alone the OS.

Do you get this problem only in the BIOS? Does it boot and work fine if you dont enter the BIOS?

What caused this problem and since when? Is your PC newly assembled?

I assume you're using the Gen3 R2.0 version of the board. 2501 is the latest BIOS.

Not sure what is causing this. Perhaps try with a different graphics card if you an old/spare lying around. Your board and CPU is still dependant on the GPU to display the BIOS so something could go wrong there.
