Thank you for the help in advance but I was just wondering how this pc will preform I'm going to be gaming ultra 1080p and I'm also going to be doing some light video editing thanks and the reason I have two ssd instead of one Is so I can run them in raid 0 for super speedy performance.

Yes I'm going to overclock and and yes I know about the 970 and 980 the reason I chose the sli 780s is because I have a lot of friends who use them and they have stellar performance and I just didn't even consider them. If you think the 970/980 are better let me know as I don not know much about those cards, I just know that they are really efficient on energy consumption.

Here is a review of three GTX970s

and the GTX980 review

The are new lower power cards which reduces power supply and thermal load which ought to allow for cost savings somewhere. I'm at work. I'm sure others will chime in before I get home.

The reviews show the slightly tweaked GTX970s to be better, by a bit, than the GTX780, cheaper, and with lower power and heat.

Since you were already at the $160 mark for RAM, I just gave you 1866 Mhz memory for the same price. You won't notice it while gaming, but you will get a little performance boost when you are rendering video. If you want to save a little money, go with 1600 Mhz memory. Your original PSU would be fine, but it's overkill. Unless you plan on 3-way SLI, then there's no real need to use on a 1,000w PSU. I put in the GTX 970, even though it it's more of a contender to the 780 Ti; however, the 970 is cheaper than the 780. With the extra memory, you will have an easier time going to a higher resolution, if you desire it later.

For you, that's how I would build it.

Which would give me better performance 1 gtx 980 or 2 gtx 970s? And I changed the power supply back because the one I had is future proofing and it's cheaper with more wattage

The MoBo is fine. Personally, I'd get something different, but I don't know what else you might want to add on. The case is one of my personal picks, and will probably house my next build.

On a side note: unless you really want to go with your particular RAM selection, I don't see why you won't go with the G.Skill 1866 Mhz memory; it's the same price for a little less video rendering time. If you want to stay with 1600 Mhz, there are cheaper options that will perform just as well.

SLI is not, primarily, intended for multiple monitor usage. It is intended to allow splitting of the graphics workload across two or more GPUs, with a variety of modes, to improve frame rate, or to provide higher quality output at the same, or even lower, frame rate.

The GTX Titan has two GPUs on board and is a single card SLI.

Where you probably heard that is because multiple monitors expand the resolution space that the graphics card must fill; three monitors at 1080p is three times as many pixels as one. In multi-monitor set-ups SLI (and Crossfire) allows multiple GPUs tosplit up and coordinate the task of pumping out all those pixels.

Some games, notably Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3, can use SLI on 1080p to reach maximum effects. Getting things like AA x32 is ONLY possible with multiple GPUs.

Why do I have a feeling that you wouldn't even notice the difference? haha

Well, if that's the case, I guess SLI 970's would probably be the best route for cost efficiency. I'm not much of a gaming nerd, so GPUs are not my strong point.
