So i have not a clue on what to do, iv just been looking at this aussie site to buy the parts.
Anyways i dont really want a gaming pc just a fast everyday computer

not sure if this will work: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=360856&action=wish_lists
If you could give me an idea of the a few:
cpu's
the hdd i should get
power supply.
and memory board

you know all that junk. I really just.. need it to be fast but not too expensive.
If you could give me a few ideas of each component.

Dont even refer to my idea if you dont want just make a cheap build for me thanks a lot!

Solution
Here is an AMD approach, and it has a stronger APU than the intel builds, but I'm not sure about single core perfomance but it will be good for a fast everyday computer.

PCPartPicker part list: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/NZ8QLk
Price breakdown by merchant: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/NZ8QLk/by_merchant/

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor ($109.00 @ CPL Online)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($39.00 @ Mwave Australia)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88X Extreme4+ ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($69.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Memory: Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($88.00 @ CPL Online)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($79.00 @ CPL Online)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda...
Glad to see a fellow Aussie.

Try PCPartPicker. I don't wan't to sound mean tell you to just go on the site. But this is because I am about to go to sleep now. Sorry I do apologise for that.

But what you will need for a basic everyday computer:
CPU: Try the Pentium G3258 or i3-4130.
Motherboard: A H97 motherboard will do.
RAM: 8GB will do from Corsair, G.Skill or Kingston.
HDD: Seagate or WD (You choose the size you will need p, I recommend at least 1TB).
SSD: Maybe a small 60GB one for the Windows. But this is not essential unless for faster boot time.
GPU: The integrated will do.
PSU: (Try to add what you think will fit your budget and I will see if it is suitable).
Case: Any case to your liking.

P.S. I'll be back tomorrow morning so sorry for the inconvenience.

No way that wasnt mean, im so surprised that was such a quick answer. Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks so much! Tomorrow morning if you could reply and just give me a rough idea of everything (exact parts) that will work together so i can check it out?
thanks a lot.
have a good sleep :)

That's why he recommended the PC part Picker site. It automatically filters for compatability. And it will warn you if you have parts that don't work together. :)

The build he has in mind will be a good one. I don't want to steal his thunder so I'll let him post the final details when he returns. ;)

sorry to be annoying, but just questions.
Why not the Core i3-4150 instead of the core i3-4160 i understand its .1 ghz faster; But does that really show much differnce in performance to save a few more bucks?

Yes you could. Or like I said in my first post try the Intel Pentium. Dual Core but it doesn't have hyperthreading (used more in editing, not needed in a basic everyday build). And the advantage is it is cheaper and you can overclock it.

I can add the graphcis card if you are gaming too.

Try this:

I really dont mean to be picky and be painful, But i really need every part to make the pc run (also i think i can just connect the tower to my tv yeah?)

Yes just connect it to the TV. This case may not be your taste, which I absolutely understand. You have to get rid of Windows. Because this is the cheapest I can get.
