how can my wifi motherboard connect a wifi print without router?

Hello,

motherboard : X99 gaming G1 wifi
I downloaded the intel Proset software.

But i don't know how to connect to a wifi printer without router?
how to connect directly? It has spent me a day....So sad.

You can set up the wireless adapter in ad hoc mode like THIS and then you should be able to have a static address on the adapter and wireless printer that are in the same range but not the same as your other wireless network (if any).

after i set up a hoc mode? then what can i do?
The printer still cannot find out the computer.

You will have to set a static address in the printer that is in the range of the address of the computer (you can get the computer wifi address by typing ipconfig in a command prompt). You will then need to install the printer drivers and search for the network printer and select it during the install.
