I ordered an Evga gtx 970 superclocked off amazon about 2 weeks ago and I still don't have a firm ship date. Why are these sold out everywhere and does anyone know when inventory may be coming back anywhere?

GTX 970s are one of the best next gen cards available out there
but why did you go for the evga version
MSI/ASUS are far better

So far from what i read, the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 is the probably the fastest with MSI coming second. Maybe Evga gtx 970 FTW be better when it comes out. Also the Gigabyte is super cool and super quiet and can be OC'ed pretty high..

to me and what I been seeing is they may have been released too early and some quality issues came up like with evga the most

coil whine and this as I posted to this guy

seems like a lot were pulled cause of these issues ???? this is why I never jump on new or first release products best to let time go by and let chumps weed out the bad issues first and then get one after the issues been resolved with there next batch [opinion]

nope not at all
MSI/ASUS have better OC experience
and most faulty cards were of EVGA (GTX 970s and GTX 980s)

Also "OC was faster" doesnt mean anything in english so I dont really know what you ment by that. Also Giga/MSI/Asus you cant go wrong. EVGA to me was always all about looks. I dont care that they have FTW and Classified versions. All I see in benchmarks is their cards are always hotter then the 3 I just mentioned, so that makes my choice easier.

Go gigabyte or MSI. EVGA currently has issues with coil whine and cooling.
