I think 0x80010108 is RPC_E_DISCONNECTED
basically a Remote procedure cal l(RPC) the client software got disconnected from the server software.
are you trying to update a previous windows version? if so what version?
Also, how are you running the update? is it on a USB device?
if so, try using a USB 2.x port rather than a USB 3.0 port.
It might be helpful if you describe the make of your machine, particularly if it is a laptop or has a older version of windows on It (vista) or has windows 7 without the service pack 1 and updates
