Hey guys,

I've just finished a 4 hour prime95 run so I consider this stable, are these temps high for a Noctua D-14? I'm wondering if there is more overclocking room if I mount a Corsair h110 or Kraken x60, what would you advise? Am I doing something wrong on my overclock? (picture attached) i'm hitting 74C max on one core.

I'm going to buy two 980GTX cards and also wondering if i should get a reference card as these blow the air out the back or a brandcard with a different cooler. I do plan on overclocking these cards as I've read that 20% is easily attainable.

-Case is HAF X
-RAM: 2133Mhz RipjawsZ (4x 4gb)
-Mobo: Rampage Xtreme IV
-CPU cooler: Noctua D-14
-paste: Arctic silver
-GPU: Soon to be 980 Gtx

thanks for any input guys!!

Excellent and stable overclock. I used to own an NH-D14 SE2011 for my i7 4930k @ 4.9Ghz, excellent cooler. I also own the HAF X Case, my dream one. I currently own an NH D15 with some modifications done to it, best cooler I have ever used.

You know I would keep your cooler, it's solid. If your going to upgrade to a AIO cooler in your case get the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate, best AIO to dat and will fit! -

GPU - Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming, excellent cooled GTX 980.

Thanks for your answer vunknownofprob, the overclock is not on the highside then?
If i switch to the Thermaltake water 3.0 will I see a significant decrease in temperatures?

The G1 gaming is not yet available here, I do like the looks of the Asus strix card though, would this be recommendable?
