Why oh why would you want to? I'm assuming you mean to run it on your home network? IPv4 is plenty for this.

It will only work if your ISP has support for it and it will still only talk to a small number of servers that run IPv6.

If you can get a IPv4 address you don't need a IPv6 address. The only reason to use IPv6 is when you need a routeable IPv4 address and can not obtain one. So the first question to ask is why you need one, if you can't answer than question then you don't need it.

As a end users it provide no benefit, it doesn't run and faster or allow you to do anything you can't do with IPv4. In fact most home users could share a IPv4 address which is common on cell phone internet. The only real group that needs IPv6 are companies that need to place servers on internet and can not obtain as many as they want.

It might but the question is still why bother to play with it at all.

I get better pings over IPv6 to World of Warcraft because AT&T using lower latency internal routes. Mileage may vary.
