Right I was in the middle of playing CS GO and my computer shut off mid game and would not power back on, if i pushed the power button on my case it would occasionally light up the front LED's for a split second but nothing would spin etc. I purchased a new case and PSU (i assumed the psu was broken with it being a old machine) when i set up the new case etc it powers on with all the fans spinning including the HDD but i get no bios beeps ? I am open to all kinds of solutions that do not involve me buying new parts as right now i cant afford it.

More about : display beeps bios fans hdd running

Sounds like you might need to breadboard that and try and power it on with just the CPU, RAM and GPU and then follow this guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e73dtkGxiY

I already tried that guy's tutorial and nothing worked, i just cant see what the problem is if my HDD is also spinning as that means the CPU is working right ?

No unfortunately :(  Your system will power up without a CPU, the fans will spin, HDD's rev up but it just won't POST. If you have followed that, it's likely your CPU or your motherboard. Have you removed your CPU from the socket and taken a look? Like literally shine a torch on the pins (if they're on the CPU) and look for thermal paste residue or bent pins, also look closely at the CPU socket on the motherboard.

What socket do you have?

There is some thermal paste on two of the pins like slightly but that has been there for a while and i was unable to remove it months ago, its a AM3+ Socket as its the 4100 Bulldozer and the mobo is ASUS M5A 78L-MLXV2 i just dont know what it is like i dont want to buy a new CPU then its the mobo or buy a new Mobo then its the CPU....

I was in that situation when my Phenom II x4 955 BE died :(  I just went out and bought the cheapest AM3 CPU I could find (Sempron 145) and concluded my motherboard wasn't the issue. Have you ruled out the PSU by the way?

A PSU with the case or like a deal where you buy a case and a PSU and get some money knocked off? What is the case by the way? And where are you from? :)

Yeah it was, i cant remember the case name but the PSU was a 500W and it had good reviews, im assuming now the CPU or mobo is fried, i guess im gonna have to save up and replace them both.

In that case, I just usually use eBuyer, Amazon or Scan. I would honestly just get a Sempron 145 and use it to diagnose the problem and you might even be able to rule out the PSU too (fingers crossed the computer boots up anyway!). Have you used the jumpers to clear CMOS too?
