I am looking at buying a new power supply. I saw these two power supplies:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AO0YRMI/ref=ox_sc...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FLVIQQ8/ref=ox_sc...

I was wondering which one would be better for my computer. And whether the efficiency is worth the loss of 140W?
Specs:
i7 4790k 4.4GHz
Corsair h100i
MSI z97 Gaming G45
SLI GTX MSI 970
1TB hard drive
256GB SSD
5 140mm Case fans
Thanks!

You would be better off going with the 860 watt one as it has better efficiency and since you cannot run 3-way SLI on Z97/LGA 1150, so you can only run 2-way SLI. The recommended wattage for that is 750 watts, so you have a bit of headroom. Go for it!

1000 watts is overkill for anything but 3-way or maybe 4-way SLI/CFX. You'll be drawing unecessary power from your wall socket. It's not worth it to get the 1000 G2, even if it's cheaper.

Will the 860W allow for enough power when overclocking?

No problem!
Yes, 860 watts will be plenty for overclocking. don`t worry. Overclocking only takes about 10-30 watts more power, so you`re going to be fine.
