hey guys , I'm unsure of what motherboard to buy, I buy the ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER Z97 or Z97 MSI GAMING 5? remembering that this ASUS Z97 $ 100 more expensive, worth it? 'll do an over with the I5 4690K to 4.5GHz, either one I buy will be a good one? or asus is better to take it?

More about : asus z97 maximus vii ranger msi z97 gaming 4690k 4ghz

The ROG Ranger is about the same level as the more expensive MSI Gaming 7, which is higher model than the Gaming 5. If you were going do discount the Gaming 5 and instead choose the Gaming 7 then either of them would do well. Though the Gaming 5 would also be fairly decent if you wanted to put that cash elsewhere.

Edit: The extra $100 is NOT worth it, the price difference here in the UK is just £25.

No, I would get the MSI Gaming 5 or the Gaming 7, which should both be cheaper than the Asus board.

I don't feel you can really say this anymore, you get what you pay for. A low end MSI board may be poor, but an MSI Gaming 9 is as good as any other board in it's price range.
